Episode 4: Problems

“Where are you going to stay?” TOP asks Matthew.

“I have no idea…em…TOP” Matthew answers TOP with awkwardness “I need to be used to calling their names…It’s not going to be that hard right..?” Matthew thought while the other four is helping him to solve his apartment crisis.

“Yah~Hyung~! Why don’t he stay with us?? (In Korean)” Seungri suggested to GD. “Yah~Not a bad idea maknae~but the problem is… that…umm……we have no spare bedroom!!! We don’t even have enough rooms for ourselves…(In Korean)” GD said to Seungri.

“He could take the couch? (In Korean)” Daesung joins in the conversation. “Yah~! Don’t say like that!! He’s practically guest to us…we can’t treat him like that now can we? (In Korean)” GD explains to Daesung.

While the four of them are discussing, Matthew was busy with practicing saying the members name… “What was the fifth member’s name again?” Matthew thought to himself, as he was thinking about that. Suddenly…

“YO~~~!!!” Taeyang jumps out from the entrance door, scaring everyone, especially Matthew…Matthew became “frozen” when he saw Taeyang.

Awkward silence…… (o.o)

“Em…hi……” Taeyang greets Matthew awkwardly… Matthew, still in the “frozen” position, shakes Taeyang’s hand while saying, awkwardly of course, “Hey……”

“Yah~! Young Bae~!! Why did you do that? (In Korean)” GD “scolded” Taeyang. “Come on~I always do that~I didn’t know we have a guest today…which looks a lot like- (In Korean)” Taeyang explains halfway when GD interrupted him “Yah~Shh~Just introduce yourself to him~ (In Korean)” GD then pats Taeyang’s back and push him forward to the “frozen” Matthew.

“Yah…You can unfroze now…He’s nothing but a hyper little “kid”” TOP taps Matthews shoulder while explained to him. Matthew finally unfrozed

“Erm…hey...again…erm…Sorry I scared you just now…” Taeyang apologizes to Matthew. “Oh…It’s ok…emm…” Matthew said while thinking his name.

“Name’s Taeyang, Sup dude~?” After hearing Matthew said “It’s ok”, Taeyang became his hyper, hip hop little self again and introduce himself to Matthew.

“Oh, Taeyang, yeah…uh, sup?” Matthew awkwardly said to Taeyang, while shaking his hand, again. Before Matthew could let go of his hand, Taeyang pulls him and gave him a “bro hug” “Yeah~sup~~” Taeyang said while hugging Matthew.

“Oh…oukay…” Matthew thought to himself, while still hugging  hyper Taeyang.

After all the hugging and introducing, Matthew is back to his first problem…finding a place to live…

“Oh, you don’t have a place to live??” Taeyang then realizes the problem and asks Matthew.

“Yeah…” Matthew then replies to Taeyang, stating the obvious.

“Well~Why don’t you live with us in our dorm then~~~” Taeyang said to Matthew without thinking or discussing with the other members. After hearing what Taeyang said, GD facepalmed himself and thought “This little brat…Didn’t even think his words through…”

After hearing those words from Taeyang, Matthew lighted up and immediately said “Really?? Could I??” “Yeah~~Why not~?” Taeyang answers without thinking again and with a bright smile on his face. GD, who couldn’t take it anymore, pulled Taeyang at the side and explained to him.

“Yah!! Young Bae~!! We don’t have a spare bedroom for him!! We don’t even have individual rooms for the members~(In Korean)!!” GD explained, “Well, he could sleep on the couch~(In Korean)?” Taeyang replied to GD. GD, facepalmed himself yet again and explain to him… “He’s like a guest right? (In Korean)” “Ne…” “And we need to treat a guest good right? (In Korean)” “Ne…” “Yeah…now you see my point right?? (In Korean)” “Alright Jiyong-ie~I got It~~(In Korean)” Taeyang finally agrees with GD.

“So…Can I??” Matthew asked with a smile on his face. GD pushed Taeyang to him, telling him to explain to Matthew. Taeyang looks back at GD, with an evil glance (but it’s too hard to see with his small eyes) and GD smiled back at him and did a hand gesture like “go~go~go~”

“Well…The thing is Matthew…-” “Matt, you can call me Matt” Matthew interrupts Taeyang. “Ok, Matt…The thing is…we don’t have a spare bedroom for you…I didn’t thought this through when I asked you to live with us…” Taeyang explained to Matthew with a sad tone.

“Well…Do you guys have a couch that I could crash on??” Matthew then asks Taeyang “Crash?? On our couch?? Nononononono~can’t~you are like a guest so we can’t~” Taeyang then denied Matthew’s offer.

“Awh come on~just until I find a new place to stay~I wouldn’t mind sleeping on you guys’ couch~” Matthew explained. After hearing that, Taeyang then suddenly lighted up and immediately turn to GD, seeing if he agrees to let him stay with them or not.

GD then tilted his head back, letting out a loud sigh and tilted his head back “Are you sure you don’t mind??” GD asks Matthew “No~no~~of course not~I just hope you guys don’t mind me staying…” Matthew replies to GD “No~no~~We won’t~It’s actually great to have another person staying in our dorm~” GD replied quickly.

“So…I really could stay there???” Matthew asked with excitement. “Yes” GD replied. After hearing those words, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri immediately went to Matthew and group hugged while saying “Yay~~~WOOO~~~!!!” and spinned round and around.

 TOP then approaches GD, asking silently “Why do you think Mr Yang called him all the way from his country to work here?” “He has his own reasons hyung…I’m sure of it...” GD replied TOP silently with a little smile on his face.

After settling that entire problem…

“Ok…so let me see if I could get this right…(while pointing each member) TOP, G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung and…Seungri…Right??” Matthew tests himself.

“Yeah~~” Everyone said together. “Alright~~Woot~ I think I could get used to calling you guys that~” Matthew said with a smile.

“I’m glad that you are working with us now~” Daesung said with a big smile on his face. “Yeah~~” Seungri added. “Yeah I am excited too~~but…do you guys know why…the Mr Yang chose me?? I mean…I can’t even speak Korean with you guys…” Matthew then asked with curiosity.

“I’m sure he had his reasons…” GD replied to Matthew, like he knew the reason… “Or maybe he expects you to be the same as your brother?” Seungri answers. “But…I don’t even know my brother…I never knew my brother…I’ve only been together with him until I’m 3 or 4 years old…I didn’t even knew he exist until I received the letter from Mr Yang…” Matthew said with a sad tone…

“Well…you guys ARE twins afterall…Maybe you guys are alike??” Daesung replied to Matthew, trying to cheer him up… “I guess…” Matthew said softly… “Like I said…He has his reasons…” GD then said again.

“Alright~Let’s be a little more cheery now can’t we~?” Taeyang said to lighten the mood up. “Yeah Taeyang’s right~!!” Matthew agrees with him. “Oh I almost forgot, Matt, you could call me GD if G-Dragon is too long for you~” GD told Matthew. “GD?? Hmm..ok then~” Matthew agrees.

“Hey Matthew how old are you??” Seungri then suddenly asks. “Wha…WHY??” Matthew replied in shock, didn’t want to reveil how OLD he is (27 years old) “It doesn’t matter to you anyways Seungri-goon, you’ll be calling him hyung anyways~” TOP then teases Seungri.

“Yah~~TOP hyung~Don’t say like that~~ (In Korean)” Seungri said in a cute tone. “Um…hyung??” Matthew overheard what TOP said. “Elder brother~~” Daesung replied to Matthew with a cute tone. “Oh…(he then realizes something…) wait…How old are you guys??”

“Me and Young- I mean Taeyang-goon is 24” GD said “I’m 23 and this guy is 22~~” Daesung said while putting his hand on his shoulder, Seungri with a frustrated face “Yah~” taking down Daesung’s hand… “I’m…25…” TOP answers softly…

“Oh…oh my…” Matthew said softly while thinking “Wow…I really AM going to be the “hyung”…” “So~~How bout you Matt??” Taeyang asks with curiosity, when he asked, every member then leaned closer to Matt to hear his answer properly…

“27…” Matthew said really softly... “What??” the members didn’t hear and asked again “27~!!” Matthew then said loudly. Every member, shocked by Matthew’s sudden loudness, leaned back…then…

“HYUNG~~~~” Daesung said to lighten up the mood and hugs Matthew. Although Matthew doesn’t really like the idea that he’s the oldest in the room but he felt a sudden warmness when he was being called “hyung” and he hugs back Daesung…awkwardly of course…Matthew suddenly realize…

“Yong?” Matthew asked while looking at GD, GD looked at Matthew back, wondering what is he asking… “You said Yong…when you said you…and…-” Before Matthew could finish GD then realizes what was he asking and replied “OH~~~Nono~I’m used to calling Taeyang by his real name, Young Bae” “Real…name??” Matthew asked while in shock and thought “Does that mean I have to learn their real name too??”

“But don’t worry~~you do not need to call him by his real name~you can still call him Taeyang” GD explains to Matthew, after looking at Matthew’s confused and worried face. After hearing what GD said, Matthew let out a little sigh and said “Oh ok then…but I’ll try to learn it…” Matthew said, not wanting them to feel sad…

“So what does your stage name mean??” Matthew then asks Taeyang. “Sun~~It means Sun~” Taeyang answers with a smile. “Sun?? Really??” Matthew asked with shock. “Yep~~” “So…Does anyone else’s stage names have meaning??” Matthew then asks the rest of the members.

“Mine mean VICTORY~~~~” Seungri said in excitement. “Mine actually means my own name~ ‘Jiyong’, my ‘Ji’ sounds like G, and my ‘Yong’, in Korean means Dragon, so put together is…’G-Dragon’~~” GD explained. “Oh…ok…ok…” Matthew replied, trying to remember and understand.

“My ‘TOP’ name was given by my best friend~ Se7en~, I don’t think it has any meaning though…” TOP explains “But I have the same name with little Seungri over there~ Seung Hyun~” “Oh…Wow~ So you’re Big and Little Seung…Hyuns then~~” Matthew said in excitement. “Yep~” TOP said with a smile.

“Well, ‘Daesung’ is my original name~” Daesung said. “Oh~~ok then~that’s good~” Matthew said with a smile. “But if you want my stage name it will have to be D-Lite~” Daesung said, killed Matthews lighted up mood. “Well if that’s the case, me and Seungri also have another stage name~~ SOL and V.I!!” Taeyang then interrupts. Matthew, after hearing those three NEW stage names, he couldn’t say anything…and just froze there again…

After seeing Matthew’s pale face, Daesung quickly added “Well~~those you don’t need to remember ok~?” trying to cheer him up… “Alright…I’ll try-” “Nonono~~No need no need~~” Taeyang quickly said. Matthew then let out a slight relieve.

“Well…alright guys…it’s time we go to practice~~” GD said. “Oh…were you guys supposed to go to practice just now??” Matthew then asks. “Yeah~we were just waiting for Taeyang~” TOP replied. “Oh..my…Oh my oh my…that means I hold you guys back too?? I was supposed to be responsible of your schedules~!!! And look what I’ve did~~??” Matthew said in panic… “It’s ok~It’s nothing really~ Usually we always need to wait for a member to come first~It’s really not a unusual thing to miss out the first 20 minutes of the practice~” GD explains.

“20…MINUTES??? Oh…my…” Matthew said, while being more and more worried. “We better get going…WE BETTER GET GOING NOW~~” Matthew said while he opens the door and pull one member by one member out.

“Dude…CHILL~~BREATH…” Taeyang tries to calm Matthew down. “Oh…my…first day on the job and already I’m doing a sloppy job…Will Mr Yang scold me?? Or worse…REPLACE ME???!!!” Matthew thought while pushing the members forward.

What will Matthew’s situation be?? And what will happen in the practice room?? To Be Continue…

Episode 3: The Members

“Alright…going in…” Matthew said as he tries to calm himself down.

Matthew stopped at the main entrance, didn’t have the slightest idea how to go in.

“How do I go in??” Matthew asked himself; keep on looking for an entrance without a passcode. Matthew then suddenly remembered that he has a card that the manager gave him for free. “Hmm…Is this the entrance cardkey?” He asked himself again while wondering where to put or scan the card.

Finally he found the scanner for the card and scanned his entrance card.

When he takes his first step into YG Entertainment Company, he could feel that the whole environment changed. He didn’t know why, he just felt different when he stepped into the company.

“Whoa…That looks so cool~” Matthew said with amazement when he saw the entrance in the company. The entrance looked like he’s going to nightclub, with all the Company’s group Music Video playing at random.

When he walked in, he didn’t know what to do...Then suddenly a guy approached him saying “Can…I help you??”

“Yeah…erm…I’m looking for the manager?” Matthew then asks the guy. “Oh…right, this way, follow me…” The guy replies him.

“Thanks, I’m Matthew by the way, but people call me Matt” Matthew said to the guy.

“Oh, hey Matt, I’m Young Don, one of the dance members in this company~ what brings…you here?” Young Don replied to Matthew.

“Err…I’m getting a job here, the manager just offered me one, he sent a letter to me and-” Before Matt could finish, Young Don interrupts “(Clears throat~~) Well~ here you go~ just walk up straight and you’ll see a door that says ‘Yang Hyun Suk’, the main CEO’s name”

“Wait…isn’t he the manager?” Matthew asks Young Don. “Nope, he’s the CEO, and I’m pretty sure he is the guy that you were finding” Young Don answers with a smile.

“Erm...Alright then” Matthew said with uncertainty

As Matthew walks upfront to the door, his heart started pounding really fast without any reason “What is happening?? It’s just an interview, calm down Matt” Matthew thought to himself. As he’s about to go in, he let out a big sigh first to calm himself, and knocks the door.

“Come in” The man inside the room said.

Matthew then lets himself in…When he went in, he couldn’t believe where was he at that time, the office looks like a toy store, with many many toys stacked up on the shelf and one gigantic transformer action figure standing between the shelves. His mind immediately went blank, he thought he was in the wrong room and checked the plate on the door “Yang Hyun Suk’s Office (CEO)” Yeap, correct place…but…the office…

“Sit down over here Matthew.” A man on the couch said. He’s the one and only Yang Hyun Suk, wearing his hat and spreading his right arm on the couch, crossing his legs, sitting in a really comfortable position.

When Matthew saw him, although he looks like a normal person, he could feel that he’s really powerful and smart. So he obediently sit on the chair opposite the couch. Matthew sat in a position as if like he’s going to get scolded, obediently sitting straight with his hands clenched together and his legs close together.

“Relax Matthew, I’m not fierce or anything, I just want to thank you for coming here and accepting the job.” Mr Yang said.

“Oh, the pleasure is mine sir…I would love to work here, whatever my job is…” Matthew replied Mr Yang.

“It’s generous of you Matthew…No one could replace your brother’s spot, even though this job is quite simple, most of it depends on the members you know? I want what’s best for them…” Mr Yang said.

“The job is simple sir?? May I ask what would I be doing?” Matthew asked politely.

“Your job, Matthew, is very simple, as you worked in a department before, I’m pretty sure you know how to manage schedules right? So, your job is, simply just managing the members’ schedule…” Mr Yang explains.

“Oh? Really?? That is all? Ok then…” Mathew responds

“But be warned, I may look like I won’t be strict, I could just fire you anytime if you don’t do your job properly…” Mr Yang warns him.

Matthew shocked, slowly replies Mr Yang “Don’t…don’t worry sir…I won’t let you down!”

“Good…” Mr Yang said. “Now go meet your members~” Mr Yang suddenly said with a slight cute tone.

Matthew was more shocked at the sudden change in his voice, but ignores it since he didn’t want to get into any trouble. “Ok sir…” Matthew replies Mr Yang, then he asks “May I ask who are the members?”

Mr Yang then gave him a paper, showing him where to go to meet the members…

As Matthew leaves Mr Yang’s office, he could feel a slight relieved from all the stress he had when he was having that conversation with Mr Yang. Matthew then continues going to the place the paper said…

He arrived at a door and knocks on it…He heard a slight sound inside “Wait~ (In Korean)” Someone said…

“Ne~~~???” Someone then opens the door.

“Hello~I’m your new-” Before Matthew could finish, the “someone” suddenly said in shock “Gh…gh…GHOST~!!! (In Korean)” and faints…

“Whoa Whoa WHAT??” Matthew said with confusion…he didn’t know what to do, he didn’t dare to help the guy out but just standed there in shock…

But eventually he squatted down and looks at the guy, trying to wake him up by shaking him…

“Ya~~!!! Daesung-gun~ Where are you?? (In Korean)” Someone with a deep voice calling while approaching towards…

The guy suddenly stops and saw the guy with Matthew… “DAESUNG-KUN~~~” and run towards the guy and Matthew.

Matthew, still confused, didn’t know what to do and just stepped back of the fainted guy (Daesung)

The guy (TOP btw) then proceeds to shake Daesung, trying to wake him up…

“Ya!!! What’s happening over there??? (In Korean)” Someone else approaches…

“I’m so sorry~!! I didn’t mean to scare him like that…” Matthew then finally responds.

TOP and the other guy looked at Matthew, and starred at him, didn’t believe that he’s standing there…

“Erm…Did I say anything wrong?” Matthew said with confusion…

“Ya~~You came back~!!! BUT HOW?? (In Korean)” Both TOP and the other guy (Seungri) said together and started approaching Matthew…

“Ermm…What??” Matthew is really confused at the moment

Both TOP and Seungri just kept on blabbering on when suddenly; ANOTHER guy approached “What are you guys doing here?? (In Korean)”

“Hyung! Hyung! Look who came back!!! (In Korean)” Seungri said to the guy.

The guy then starred at Matthew…and then he said “That’s not him…It’s someone else…(In Korean)”

Both TOP and Seungri stunned by his words and starred at Matthew again, this time with seriousness…and realized that he wasn’t who they expected…

Matthew then asks “Alright…can anyone here talk to me in English?? Cause…I can’t understand a word you guys just said…”

“Name’s G-Dragon dude…” The guy approaches him… “TOP” TOP said, “I’m Seungri!” Seungri said with a slight cute tone.

“Oh…so you guys DO speak English…good…” Matthew said in relieve

“What’s your name dude??” GD then asks Matthew. “Name’s Matthew…dude, but um..you guys could call me Matt.” Matthew said with a smile on his face.

Three of them then approach Matthew, one by one shaking his hand, saying “Nice to meet you Matt.”

“Oh…What happened?? (In Korean)” Daesung finally wakes up…“Hyung!! Come meet Matt~!! (In Korean)” Seungri replies Daesung while helping him up…

“Who? (In Korean)” Daesung asks Seungri “Matt~There~ (In Korean)” Seungri answers Daesung…

“O.O Isn’t that?? (In Korean)” Daesung asks while holding Seungri tightly “Don’t worry hyung~he’s not a ghost~he’s new here~But speak to him in English ya~(In Korean)” Seungri then replied him.

“H-Hello…there…” Daesung said to Matthew… “Hey there…Sorry I scared you all of a sudden, although I don’t know why…” Matthew replied Daesung while shaking his hand.

“Solid hand...that’s a relieve (In Korean)” Daesung said softly.. “What?” Matthew overheard him saying “Nothing~nothing~” Daesung said with embarrassment.

“So..What brings you here?...Matt?” GD asks him.

“Erm..well..I got a job managing schedules, and I think the members that I’m going to manage the schedules are you guys…right??” Matthew replied and asked.

“Yeah~We are Big-” GD said then everyone said “BANG” while doing gunshot sigh and V signs.

“Whoa…awesome name~~” Matthew said with a smile. “We have another member, call Taeyang, which is not here yet…” TOP said to Matthew.

“So…you guys are BIGBANG and you guys have 5 members?” Matthew asks…

“Yep~Me, GD, is the Leader, TOP is the oldest, while Seungri is the maknae~” GD explained while putting his hand on Seungri, petting him.

“Yah~Hyung~don’t do that~(In Korean)” Seungri said with embarrassment.

“Ok…but may I ask…what’s ‘maknae’” Matthew asked with confusion…

“The youngest~” Daesung replied with a huge smile on his face. “Yah! Hyung~don’t say it like your older than me~you’re just older than me 1 year~(In Korean)” Seungri said to Daesung.

“Alright alright guys~don’t fight~*eventhough I have no idea what is it about*” Matthew said to them.

“Anyways Matt, welcome to the family!!!” GD said with a big smile on his face and both his hands in the air.

“Heh…Family??” Matthew asked, again confused. “Well, here in YG, we’re not just co-workers and stuff, we’re a family~and we treat each other like family~” GD explains.

“Oh wow…alright then~~” Matthew said with excitement. “This is so cool~ I feel like I’m going to enjoy it here~” Matthew said to everyone.

“Good~” GD said with a smile “Oh it’s going to be so fun~!!” Daesung said with excitement. “Yah~~~Awesome~!!” Seungri said and TOP, “YEAH!!!” with his right hand up high.

“Well, before you settle with us, did you find a place to stay yet??” GD then kills the mood by asking Matthew that.

“Oh…my…” Matthew thought to himself, “The first place I come after my flight was here, the company~!” Matthew replied with worry.

“Oh…my…” Everyone said, pitying Matthew. “There won’t be any apartments available in this hour now…” GD said to Matthew, which made him worry even more!!

“Where will I stay~??” Matthew thought to himself while trying to find a solution.

Episode 2: Goodbye, my little sister…

Matthew Harper, after having his world turned upside down, decided to rest his head for awhile…While lying down on his bed, his mind is full of questions…

“Should I take the job??” He asks himself. “But I’ll be replacing my brother’s place…not only my brother, but my TWIN brother…” Struggling with finding the answer, Matthew just decided to calm himself down and have a drink.

“Go take the job brother…” Felicia said while seeing Matthew slowly going to the kitchen.

“What for? I have a job of my own…and it’s so far away…what about you?” Matthew replied Felicia.

“I’ll be fine bro, and you don’t want to continue working at that department do you? You’ve suffered enough…you deserve a job like this…” Felicia said to Matthew.

“What job?? I don’t even know what I will be doing!! I might end up being the janitor for that company…” Matthew said.

“Bro…You won’t be, trust me…If they want a janitor, they could pick anyone to be it…but they pick you bro…they picked you for a reason, our other brother, which we never get to know…must had an important role in the company, I mean, a FREE ticket to South Korea?? That’s a pretty big thing there…” Felicia explained.

“You’ve got a point there… oh sis…My head is so dizzy now…” Matthew said as he sits on the chair near him.

“You know what, you deserve a vacation…Hey~ I know, why don’t you…GO TO SOUTH KOREA WITH YOUR FREE TICKET” Felicia said with anger.

“Why are you so eager for me to go?? Are you hiding something from me sis??” Matthew suspects…

“No bro…I tell you everything remember, we tell each other everything…I just want you to achieve your dreams, that’s all…I don’t want you to end up doing that boring job at the department for your whole life…” Felicia convincing Matthew.

“Fine…I won’t waste the ticket…I’ll go to Korea…take a vacation…and if MAYBE I stopped by at the YG company place…I’ll go take a look, alright?” Matthew finally gives in.

“YES~~~I’m so happy for you brother~” Felicia overjoyed~ as Felicia said that, she hugs Matthew tightly.

Matthew smiled and said to Felicia “Thanks sis…Thanks for convincing me…” and hugs her back…

“Wait…don’t we have a party to attend to??” Matthew then kills the moment with his question…

“Dude…you are such a mood killer…” Felicia said with anger.

“Should we go?” Matthew asked. “Nah…We need to help you pack your things~~” Felicia answered with joy~

“Wait…you don’t expect me to go the very next day do you??” Matthew then asks with curiosity.

“Well no duh bro…you don’t want to waste a minute being here when you can be over there, living the life you always wanted…” Felicia explains.

“Wow…you really want me out of this apartment huh…” Matthew said with slight suspect.

“No~no~~I just...figure that you don’t want to waste their precious time too now do you?? What if you stayed here too long and they find someone else?” Felicia explains.

“Mmm hmph~” Matthew said in a sarcasm voice.

“Alright~let’s start packing~” Felicia said with joy.

The next morning…

“Wow…I can’t believe it…We actually did it…We actually packed all my stuff up…” Matthew said while he looked at all the luggage and bags.

“Yeah…I can’t believe it myself.” Felicia said, doubting herself a little. “Well~ let’s get you to the airport~” Felicia said with joy and excitement.

“WHOA~ NOW?? SERIOUSLY??” Matthew asked with shock.

“Yeah~~as I said before, we don’t want to waste your and their precious time now do you~?” Felicia explained with joy.

“Wow…you’re seriously being serious…” Matthew said while looking at Felicia, who is busy putting all the luggage and bags into the car.

“Come on now~” Felicia said after loading all the luggage to the car.

Matthew sighed loudly while being dragged by Felicia to get into the car.

When they arrive to the airport…

“Have your wallet?” “Yes…” “Have your phone?” “Yes…” “Have your passport?” “Yes…” “Have your-” “Geez Felicia, are you my parent or my sister??” Matthew got frustrated.

“Well~ I want you to make sure you have everything~ that’s what being a sibling is right?” Felicia said in a cute tone.

“I’m pretty sure it’s not…” Matthew teased Felicia. Felicia then hits him on his left arm.

“Ow~ Okay~ Geez sis~” Matthew said with playfulness. Felicia then hugs Matthew, trying to hold her tears; she then said “Good luck brother, I’ll miss you…”

When Felicia can’t hold on much longer, she lets Matthew go and looked at the other way. Matthew then said to Felicia, while gently putting his hand on her shoulder, “You didn’t say goodbye…” He was trying to tease her, but it didn’t work…It made her burst in tears!!!

“Just go you little~~” Felicia pushes Matthew away while she’s looking down, not showing Matthew that she’s crying.

Matthew then smiled and hugs his sister and said “I’ll miss you too sis…” Felicia then hugs Matthew real tightly.

After a long warming hug, they have to separate…

As Matthew was taking the escalator, both Matthew and Felicia looked at each other and wave goodbye.

After a 10 hour flight, Matthew finally arrived to his destination, South Korea. His first visit, YG Entertainment Company…

Episode 1: The Letter

In a quiet office, Matthew Harper, 27 years old, is working on yet another old boring document when suddenly…

“Here you go, Matt” A guy rolls a trolley towards Matthew and hands him his mails. It’s the office mail sorter and one of Matthew’s good friends, Kevin Blake.

“Thanks Kev” said Matthew as he takes his mails from Kevin.

“So, are you still going to the party tonight?” Kevin asks Matthew.

“I guess so…but I don’t really feel like going anyways…” Matthew said with a slight sigh.

“Oh…then…is your sister going though?” Kevin asks with a bright face.

“That’s none of your business Kev,” Matthew’s sister suddenly interrupts while putting her file on top of his trolley.

“Oh, Felicia you’re here…” Kevin said with shock and a little excitement.

“Yeah scram Kevin; I want to talk to my brother for awhile…” Felicia said to Kevin.

“Oh, alright then…as you wish…” Kevin said with slight sadness.

Felicia Harper, 23 years old, is Matthew’s one and only sister and they are working together in a department.

“Hey sis, what brings you here?” Matthew said with excitement.

“Ugh…the boss just gave me another work to do…” Felicia said with anger.

“Calm down now sis…you know we’re doing this for the rent…” Matthew said.

“Yeah I know… (Sigh) You know how we always talk about our dreams?” Felicia asks Matthew

“Yeah I remember…you always tell dad that you’re going to be a famous designer” Matthew said with a smile on his face

“Yeah…and you always wanted to be in music right?” Felicia said to Matthew.

Matthew sighed and said “Well you know how I can’t do that right? I never played any instruments before…”

“I wanted to learn piano in pre-school, but dad won’t let me, says that it’s too girly for me…In High school, I asked dad again and he still says no…up til college he won’t even let me have one lesson or even let me buy my own piano…And now I’m all grown up, working side-by side with my sister, having my own money to spend, but even if I want to learn now, I have no time for it…” Matthew explained sadly.

“Hey…Don’t give up now…You know how dreams work…I mean look at me, I always say that I’m going to be a fashion designer, and what am I doing now? I’m filling up forms and going to pointless meetings…just for paying rents.” Felicia said with a sad tone.

“Hey, by the way, how’s dad? Did he call you?” Matthew said, trying to change the subject.

“Nope, still no calls from him…” Felicia sighed. “Right...” Matthew said with a sigh while trying to open his letters.

“Well bro, I’ve got to go…got to finish this work so I could have ANOTHER work to do…See ya…” Felicia said with slight anger.

As Matthew watches Felicia go back to her desk, he then thought back to her words, about the dreams they used to have. “Stuck in this job forever…” Matthew said with a soft voice…He then continues to open his letters.

As he was opening, he found one letter, in black. He looked at the paper suspiciously. He then takes out the letter from his other pile of letters. At the front…It says Y-

“Hey Matt, it’s time to go…” Felicia then came back.

Matthew stared at Felicia as his hands were about to open the black letter. “Wait, this early?! Work doesn’t end til 7, it’s only 4 right now…”

“They said that they need to prepare for the party tonight, you know, for the new recruits?” Felicia explained.

“Oh~~ok then, I’ll start packing now then…” Matthew said while stacking up his mails.

“Alright, I’ll wait up front…” Felicia told Matthew.

On their way home… (In the car)

“Any news from mom?” Matthew asks Felicia. “Why are you bringing her up all of a sudden?” Felicia said.

“I don’t know, maybe just trying to start a conversation…” Matthew said with a slight sigh.

“She’s the whole reason that dad became like this…sigh…why won’t he talk to us?!” Felicia said with anger

“Calm down sis…I bet she has her reasons…she had her reasons…right??” Matthew asked with slight doubt.

“He shouldn’t have looked at all those old pictures; he knows how it affects him so much…” Felicia said sadly.

“Yeah…I wish he would snap out of it…” Matthew said. “I bet she’s the reason that dad doesn’t let you learn piano or any other instruments too…You know how mom used to play the violin…” said Felicia.

“Yeah maybe…” Matthew said while sighing…

“Anyways she’s out of our lives and we should just move on alright…so should dad…” Felicia said furiously.

“Hey! Calm down okay sis?? No matter what she did…and what she has done to dad now…She’s still our mother…” Matthew said with anger.

“Yeah…A mother who leaves her husband and her children…” Felicia said softly

“Enough ok, Felicia?? Stop it…” Matthew said with anger.

When they arrive to their apartment…Matthew puts his working bag on the floor and sits on the couch, putting his mails on the table and proceeds opening them, while Felicia is beside the door, trying to take of her working heels shoes.

As Matthew is opening his letters, he then notices the black letter again, he then pulls it out from the pile of letters and he sees at the front it says “YG Entertainment Company” in silver words.

“What the hell is this?” Matthew questioned himself while opening the letter…Inside contained a printed letter, a card, and a plane ticket.

“Whoa…” Matthew gasped when he saw the ticket… ignoring it, he reads the letter…

“Hello, Mr Matthew Harper, as the manager of YG Entertainment, I would like to offer you a job. I will tell you your full job when you accept my offer, which are the access card and the plane ticket to South Korea. We chose you because your brother used to work here. Sadly, he is no longer with us anymore, as I’m sorry for your lost, but I hope you will consider taking this job and come to Korea and work for us. Thank you and I hope we will be hearing more from you.”

Matthew was stunned… “I….had….a….BROTHER??” He said loudly.

“What the hell bro?? What’s in that letter that freaked you out??” Felicia approaches Matthew and proceeds sitting on the chair next to the couch.

“Felicia, do you remember having another brother??” Matthew asked with shock. “What?? All I remember is growing up with you dude…” Felicia then said.

“Are you sure??” Matthew asks the second time while pulling out his old pictures.

“Yeah…but remember though, when I turned a year old, mom already left dad and us…ugh…how could she….I mean seriously…How can a woman, ha-” as Felicia’s going to continue, Matthew interrupts…

“LOOK!!!” Matthew said loudly while taking a picture and showing it to Felicia.

The picture is Matthew when he was just a year old…but, there was another baby in that picture, not only that, that baby was wearing the exact same thing as what Matthew was wearing…

“A…twin??” Matthew was surprised… “How come I had no memory of it?? Where did he go throughout my whole life??” He starts listing out a number of questions in his head, wondering “how could this be?”

“You know what the best explanation is?? Mom probably took him when she left us and dad…” Felicia guesses.

“Maybe…” Matthew said, still can’t believe this is true… “She took him to Korea?? They went to Korea?? But…why?? And…-” Matthew starts to list down questions again.

“There there bro…calm down…” Felicia said to Matthew as she stroke his back.

“So…are you??” Felicia questioned. “Am I what??” Matthew replied. “Taking the job of course… It is entertainment afterall” Felicia continues her question.

“I don’t know sis…my world has turned upside down…I have no intention of considering job offers now…

“This isn’t just a job offer bro…This is a job offer…from South Korea…You know how people are into K-pop these days right??” Felicia explains.

“Should I really??” Matthew asks “You have my blessings bro…I bet this job could get you to the music industry…You could probably learn a lot over there…” Felicia explains.

“Ugh…I don’t know sis….” Matthew mopes…

“Sigh…well then you probably don’t want to waste a free trip to South Korea now would you? Only an idiot would turn that down…” Felicia explains to Matthew again…

“Don’t we have a party to attend later??” Matthew said, trying to change the subject again…

“Don’t try to change the subject bro…Take the job offer….” Felicia convincing Matthew…
